variant_origin: SOMATIC (or GERMLINE_AND_SOMATIC) additionally marks that node as where the transforming lesion occurred. For a neoplasm entry that makes it the origin node, and the disease's cell of origin is read from the same node's cell_types -- which is why there is no cell_of_origin: slot (design decisions 3d, docs/cancer-cell-of-origin.md).
