Enum: TargetingLigandEnum

Targeting ligand attached to a therapeutic agent, or to the carrier particle that holds it, to direct tissue or cell uptake or to improve pharmacokinetics. Distinct from delivery_platform, which records what carries the agent at all as opposed to a nanoparticle, a viral vector, or nothing. The two axes are orthogonal in both directions: an unconjugated oligonucleotide may still be formulated in a lipid nanoparticle (e.g., patisiran), and a nanoparticle may itself carry a ligand on its surface (e.g., an antibody-coated mRNA lipid nanoparticle).

    comments:
    - Left unmapped, like every value here except GALNAC. CHEBI:37684 (mannose) names
the sugar rather than its use as a targeting ligand, and the enum's other ligand
classes (lipid, peptide, antibody) have no ontology term for the targeting role
      either.
